200 Hour Program
What graduates of our 200 hour program can expect to gain:

- A well rounded foundation in the techniques of asana, including physical anatomy (major joints, muscles and bones involved in the foundational poses, and classification of poses), principles of alignment, breathing, bandhas, adjusting and yoga during pregnancy.
- An introduction to the practices of pranayama, meditation, and chanting.
- A framework for understanding purpose, psychology, philosophy, and history of yoga.
- A grounding in the major text of classical yoga, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and an introduction to the Bhagavad Gita.
- An introduction to Sanskrit as the language of yoga, yoga anatomy, the cakras, and the more subtle psychological effects of practice.
- The skills to create an intelligent yoga class for people of many abilities and levels.
- A network of fellow teachers and dedicated students.
- The basis for the life long practice and study of yoga.
- A 200-hour Yoga Alliance registered Yoga School of Spokane certification.
